I have lived in JP since 1975…I love JP and I love this project…I wish I had heard sooner! I am taking time off from work to be a part of this!

thefaceofjp.wordpress.com site is one of the most beautifully realized participatory and collaborative community-documentary spaces that I have ever encountered. This project is not only a wonderful celebration of diversity — it is a vision and call out for others to reclaim the meaning of online-community as an open-window to invite the fresh, vital air of individual and group voice AND the cool breeze of visiting winds…I am just discovering Greater Boston after growing up in a Metrowest suburb. I now commute daily to Dorchester as a UMass Boston student. Margaux and Ray — you inspired me to get off 95 and 93N — highways that zoom past the many neighborhoods and communities that house the soul-force of Boston’s diversity…Now when I pause at stoplights on Center St and Washington St, I try to breathe in the moment and to look around at the shops and schools and pedestrian sidewalks.

Jamaica Plain — you are beautiful!
